Northern Liberties

Sitting on the northern border of Old City and between Spring Garden & Girard Ave is an area of urban renewal known as Northern Liberties. Convenient to I-95, the El, and the revived Girard Avenue Trolley, you can get just about anywhere easily from the neighborhood. Northern Liberties features lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a liquor store, and a new ACME grocery store. Along with convenience comes fun in this part of town featuring bowling at North Bowl and annual festivals, including the 2nd St Festival and MUSEfest. This neighborhood is also pet-friendly with several pet stores and the Piazza Dog Park and Orianna Hill Dog Run.Ā

Northern Liberties is home to both old and new architecture, with every style of home from federal townhomes to temporary new construction, like the Piazza. The prices in Northern Liberties vary as much as the housing options. Home prices range from a $300K condo to $2M housing options.
